"Chronic Pain, Suffering and Illness Narratives"
Sabrina Coninx is a philosopher whose work focuses on pain and suffering, especially in clinical contexts. Her research examines chronic pain and conditions such as loneliness and depression, with a special focus on how environmental factors shape emotional experiences and how this can inform therapeutic practices.
The talk is co-sponsored by the Society of Fellows, the Department of Philosophy, and the Cognitive Science Program.
